Rosacea – how to recognize and treat?

Although flushed cheeks are a sign of health that adds charm to us, a blush that does not disappear from our face is most often a sign of couperose skin. This serious problem with inflexible blood vessels results in the appearance of characteristic spider veins on the skin of the face. Such skin is additionally sensitive to external factors, it is accompanied by a feeling of tightness, dryness, burning or itching, and may also appear hypersensitive to some cosmetics. These symptoms can signal a more serious problem, rosacea. Fortunately, modern dermatology has a way to do this, and high-coverage makeup no longer has to be a daily necessity.

Rosacea is a common disease that usually begins around the age of 30 and gets worse between the ages of 40 and 50. Research shows that the disease affects women more often, but its extremely severe cases occur mainly in men. People with fair skin are more prone to rosacea. It is worth emphasizing that rosacea is one of the skin diseases caused or exacerbated by UV rays.

It is a disease of the middle part of the face. Its early symptoms are often neglected. There may be persistent dark erythema (e.g. on the nose), recurrent, and then permanent erythema on the face in the form of flushing. The disease goes through characteristic stages of evolution. The changes are located on the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. An experienced dermatologist will recognize rosacea right away. The disease may also coexist with acne vulgaris. As an experienced specialist, Dr. Kamila Stachura believes that currently an effective solution for people struggling with the problem of rosacea is, among others Excel V + laser therapy. Excel V + laser allows you to quickly and easily get rid of spider veins and discoloration. In addition, the laser is used to effectively fight rosacea.

The Excel V + laser from the American market leader in laser devices represents the most advanced laser technology that combines the action of two precise lasers that remove red, brown, blue and purple discoloration on the body. The treatment with the use of the Excel V + laser is performed by a dermatologist, according to strictly defined parameters, which are selected individually for each patient. This procedure is not painful, there may be slight discomfort when the laser comes into contact with the skin, similar to blows with a rubber band. Depending on the type of disease being treated and the depth of the skin lesion, one treatment lasts a few to several minutes, and the effects are visible after a series of 1-3 treatments. Excel V + laser treatment is comfortable and quick, in most cases it takes only about 10 to 20 minutes.

After the treatment, using the Excel V + laser, you can easily apply makeup and return to your daily activities. In some cases, swelling and redness of the treated area may occur, especially if it was carried out over the entire face. Swelling may take two days to develop and then disappear within a few days.

Treatment of skin lesions such as visible capillaries or erythema with Excel V + laser therapy is a great way to deal with the problematic and unsightly appearance caused by rosacea. This treatment is clinically proven to treat a wide range of skin lesions. The high comfort for the patient and the speed of obtaining the results allow you to enjoy naturally beautiful skin.
