HIFU – non-invasive lifting of face and body - ultraformer mpt

Ultraformer MPT

The improved and latest version of the HIFU technology, which is well known to our patients, uses the action of concentrated ultrasound similarly to the previous device we have in the clinic. So what is the difference? The new Ultraformer MPT works even more selectively and is almost 3 times faster. Is this important for the patient? Yes, because it significantly improves the comfort during the procedure, but also enhances the effect we can get from the new device.

HIFU in our clinic is used in e.g. tissue lifting due to the excellence of the TCP — (Thermal Coagulation Point) micro-damage creation technology. The precision of the micro-damage created and the power of the device have a direct impact on the results of the procedure, its quality and patient safety. The MPT platform, unlike its predecessor and other competitors on the market, creates both macro and micro coagulation zones. As a result, both technologies can be used during a single treatment procedure, tailoring it to the individual patient’s needs. The micro version provides pulses 25 times smaller, which allows, for example, very precise operation during the procedure while increasing its effectiveness and taking care of the patient’s comfort.

We have gained our experience with HIFU technology through hundreds of procedures performed and the development of proprietary ways of working. All this to effectively eliminate, among others, skin flabbiness, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, hamsters, double chin, cellulite, but also excess body fat. The treatment parameters of the Ultraformer MPT are even several times higher than those of other cosmetology devices — hence the power of action and possibilities offered by the Ultraformer MPT. All this to target the best results, good “rejuvenation” effects and skin tightening.

These are the heads of the device. There are 10 of them, and they work from 1.5 to 13 mm deep into the tissues with an energy of up to 2 J. This is a unique force in acting on the skin.

Using concentrated ultrasound, the head precisely and in a controlled manner heats the tissues at the selected depth. The device affects not only the skin, but also adipose tissue and fascial elements. Depending on the head used, and the parameters selected, it causes tissue shrinkage, collagen fibre remodelling and increased collagen production, and, if necessary, the permanent destruction of fat tissue in the selected location. An additional head available with this system is a compact treatment handpiece working in circular mode. It enables treatments to be performed in areas that were previously inaccessible.

Furthermore, noteworthy are the ULTRA BOOSTER heads, with which we can apply active substances deep into the skin. This is a painless and non-invasive action, which can be performed, for example, after a classic HIFU treatment or as a completely separate treatment. ULTRA BOOSTER Ultraformer MPT, among others, is an alternative to classic needle mesotherapy. How and when we use these heads is a matter for the cosmetologist and the individual patient. Through the use of ULTRA BOOSTER heads, the spectrum of action of the technology is increased by moisturising dry skin, improving skin tone and reducing the finest wrinkles. The treatment is short, comfortable, and affordable.

When are the effects visible?

Skin firming and renewal, the processes that follow the application of HIFU acting in a medical system, usually take 60 to 90 days. Action with the ULTRA BOOSTER heads produces results more quickly, after about 20–25 days.

One of the most important problems that aesthetic medicine answers is the loss of skin elasticity and the appearance of wrinkles. While the CO2 fractional laser or platelet-rich plasma operate at the dermis level or by providing growth factors, HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology represents an innovative approach to the issue of skin rejuvenation. Treatments using this method give spectacular effects by acting on deep layers of the skin, resulting in a non-invasive, non-surgical face lift, as well as selected areas of the body. The changes are visible after the first treatment!

HIFU allows you to achieve a face lifting effect without using a scalpel.

What is HIFU technology?

The principle of HIFU operation is as follows: the head applied to the body produces high-frequency ultrasound. These waves penetrate the deep layers of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue, where they warm up the collagen fibres present at this level – the main building block of the skin, responsible for its elasticity and firmness. Increasing the temperature to about 65 degrees Celsius destroys collagen present in this place and creates new, properly cross-linked.

What are the benefits of this? Well, the newly created tissue undergoes contraction, which results in greater firmness of the skin – this way we obtain a lifting effect. Ultrasounds are delivered to the deep layers of the skin in a very precise mechanism, without causing damage to the epidermis or surrounding tissues. Currently, it is the only technology next to the surgical technique that allows it to operate within such deep layers of the skin.

The effectiveness and safety of HIFU technology have been confirmed in many scientific studies carried out in different parts of the world. They indicated, among others for results comparable with surgical facelift operations, but without the associated complications. First of all, the beneficial effect of the HIFU treatment on wrinkles, greater cohesiveness, as well as improved skin texture have been demonstrated.

Is the procedure painful?

The procedure does not require deep anaesthesia. During the procedure, the patient feels warm, sometimes burning, at the transducer site. You can apply creams and ointments with an aesthetic before the procedure.

In the Dr. Stachura Clinic, after consultation, individual methods of anaesthesia can be used.

How long can the effects be observed and how long do they last?

The maximum effect of the treatment is visible after 2-3 months, facial features rejuvenate significantly. However, immediately after the treatment the skin condition improves. The effects last up to 2 years. After this time, however, the skin maintains a rejuvenated appearance relative to the initial state, because as a result of the treatment we revitalize, i.e. renew the skin.

How many times should the treatment be repeated to achieve maximum effect?

One treatment is usually sufficient to obtain the maximum effect in your area. However, the best and most lasting effects are obtained after repeating the procedure after 4-6 months.
